You know you need to start blogging when:

1. Your friends wonder what you’ve been up to.

2. The freebie you announced three times was still a mystery to half your group.

3. Someone asks you when you’re going to put out the new hairpin that you were working on that was put in the shop last week.

4. Despite all of the above, you send out group notices almost daily on all of the above topics.

So here I am then, joining the world of fashion blogs.  I promise not to go on and on because I’m certain there are far more better writers than I *cough*lindenlifestyles*cough* that you would surely rather be reading than me so I’ll mostly be all business here.  (I don’t care much about clothes but those girls are so fun to read!)

There’s been lots of new stuff lately in the shop as well as a popular item which got a makeover.  The Princess Tiaras are new – all you ladies in my update group got a free version, which was shortly followed by a COLOR CHANGING GEMSTONE version released for sale at only $150L.  Can’t you tell that I love you?

I’ve been into metals again so out came a new hair pick – the Dragon’s Eye.  I used photoshop to do a really cewl gradient, and the cool thing is this accessory is double sided – both sides look a smidge different from eachother in that the gradient is reversed.  My personal favorite is “morning plum”, and my boyfriend really likes “galaxy”. 

The daisy circlet got a much needed makeover – it was one of my first pieces.  I changed the textures, made 8 different color varieties (and you can simply tint the white one to make any color you want), tweaked the shapes and placement of the flowers a little, and made the whole thing modable.  I don’t usually make my stuff modable but this kinda needs to be since it’s not quite as simple of a fitting as a single hair pin.  So I’m going let go of the control issue and take some deep breaths and I’ll be ok.    The ribbons which attach separately are also textured and colored to match, and I now have more of an incling as to what I’m doing with flexi stuff so they flow a lot nicer too.

There may be a relocation soon.    I settled into my little chunk of island about a month or so and I’m already ready to pick up and move again.  Long story short, there is a “gangsta shit” mall across the way and too many innocent accessories shoppers have been either caged or sucked into a vortex by a mega huge prim textured as a seemingly innocent rainbow.                                           *Moment of silence for the victims*                                             Yeah bad decision on my part.  Nevermind my landlord is a completely nuerotic psychopath (gawd I hope she’s not reading this) and I desperately want nobody in charge of me but me, and thus to find a second hand island as I’m way too poor to buy a new one.  So yeah, likely another move coming up.  If anyone has a whole island for sale – IM me for pity’s sake!

As for what else is in the works: a vendor full of discounted goodies for my update group (yes I am SURE it’s fixed now!), some ribbons for long ponytail hairstyles, and as soon as the task doesn’t seem too daunting, a re-working of my hair accessories turned into jewelry.  Oh and I’ve got some new inspirations for the ever popular Hibiscus hair stick, so that will get made over too shortly. 

My survey has been out for a month so it’s time to draw a name from the entries – on Sunday the 20th I’ll be picking a winner, who will get a $500 shopping spree from my store.
